My Story

Yana has been a practicing Counselling Astrologer and Registered Practitioner (License # N1-XXX, Ministry of Sports and Culture, Latvia) since 2019. From 2020 to 2022, she served as a member, lead astrologer, and researcher with the International Society of Astrological Research (ISAR).

A dedicated student of Vidatha Dayva School (Pema Jigme), Yana has earned multiple certifications in various branches of Vedic Astrology. Her education includes academical programs and courses conducted in collaboration with esteemed Gurus of Jyotish, the Teachers from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan-- Bhavan's K.N. Rao Institute of Vedic Astrology in New Delhi, India.

Yana specializes in both the Parashari and Jaimini systems – the two primary branches of classical Indian Astrology. In addition to her astrological expertise, she holds dual Master’s degrees in Linguistics from UHR, Sweden and an MBA in Finance from Probana Business School, Denmark.

As a citizen of Sweden with Eastern European roots, Yana has being travelling extensively for work across the CIS-countries, Europe, Americas, MENA- the Middle East and Northern African region, India, Scandinavia, etc., having visited over 80 countries. She is currently settled in the stunning Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, Canada, with her family and their amazing Schnauzer.

  • Main principle: Astrology in a simple language! Yana aims to avoid using complex field terminology in all the interactions with the customers.

  • In her work, Yana applies the combination of classical Jyotish approach along with the most advanced Vedic Astrology techniques in order to analyze the data from various perspectives and to provide the most accurate and detailed information possible.

  • Yana has been practicing Jyotish since 2010 and doing astrology professionally since 2019.
